Our Process

The Styling Consultation

We start with a 90-minute in-person or virtual consultation to walk through your space and understand your goals, lifestyle, and design preferences.

During this session, we provide expert guidance on layout, furniture placement, styling with what you already own, and suggestions for pieces that could help complete the look and feel of your home.

The Styling Plan

After your consultation, you’ll receive a custom purchase and style guide tailored to your space. It may include ideas for furniture, art, textiles, lighting, and finishing touches based on our conversation—helping you take action with confidence and clarity.

This guide is yours to implement on your own or use as the foundation for additional support.

Full-Service Styling (Optional Add-On)

Prefer to hand it off? We also offer full-service styling at an hourly rate, where we come into your home and do the work for you.

This hands-on service includes furniture arrangement, decor placement, art hanging, and all the finishing details that make your space feel cohesive, functional, and beautifully “you.

Zoe’s Place

Zoe’s house was such a fun project to take on. We bought this little cottage in the heart of Homer nearly 25 years ago as a rental, and I had always dreamed of completely reimagining the space. This past year, we finally had the opportunity—Zoe was moving in, and it was time to do what I had always wanted, making it perfectly Zoe.

The original drywall had definitely seen better days, so our carpenter applied a fresh skip-trowel texture throughout, giving the walls a clean, modern feel. To keep things light, open, and airy, we chose a soft neutral paint palette and added sheer white curtains to allow natural light to filter gently into the rooms.

We brought in pops of color through furniture—like the gold corduroy-textured sofa that became a central statement piece. Warm wood tones in the coffee table and bar cart complemented the sofa beautifully and added richness to the palette. Since the home includes a busy little boy and a couple of pets, we also chose washable area rugs—stylish, soft underfoot, and easy to clean, making them a perfect fit for real life in this space.

The kitchen was a full rework. Originally laid out in a U-shape with a bar counter that jutted into the main entryway, the space felt tight and closed off. We redesigned it into an L-shape with a central island, opening up the room and creating a much more functional flow. Now Zoe, who loves to entertain, can comfortably host gatherings of 10–12 people. (We even tucked a wine cooler under the island!)

The backsplash tile added a high-end feel, but we balanced the budget with warm butcher block countertops—affordable, practical, and perfect warming moment alongside the white cabinetry and soft wall color.

One final detail: we painted the interiors of the exterior doors a deep charcoal. It’s a small, simple upgrade—but one that always elevates the look and feel of a space.

(In the last image with Tiffanie, you’ll see the vibrant painting that we had commissioned for Zoe’s space, to reflect her fun personality.
